SYNDRόMoS Theatre Co. was founded by Filippos Kanakaris in 2010. Its main objective is the coexistence of artists from different sectors of the performing arts world for the creation of a common ‘language’ that integrates elements of theatre, dance and the fine arts in a cohesive and coherent way. A main axis of its research is the place of classical texts in the present tense.

Filippos Kanakaris has performed in theatre and dance productions and also worked as an assistant director in Greece. In 2008 he completed a Master’s Course in theatre direction and physical performing at Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
